tips for first time investing in the stock market?

Is not a good or bad time for investing stock? how much expect do I need to invest, i wanted minimum.

I suggest you play with small money if these are your first steps in the stock market. A minimum? Something between $500 and $1,000 per stock.
Right now, I don't think it's a great time for stocks in general.

Invest when the market is down and sell when the market goes up.

Couldn't agree more, but finding these moments is easier said than done. I still see substantial room for lower worldwide indexes.

Markets are down you can invests in stocks now and then when it goes up you can sell it.

A good resource would be bankrate.com, I check this site often and read all the articles. They are very informative.
