    Hello
Dream jobs are one of those things that many dream about. Some dream to be the CEO of an internationally recognized company whereas for some a good paying job is good enough for a dream job. It seems like many people are giving up hopes on their dream jobs due to rising unemployment and hurting economy. Although the current situation may not be as good as we would like it to be, there certainly is hope. And dreams more often than not are conquered when there is hope.
Today we want to explore a few of those things and how it might make you a strong candidate in the eyes of your potential employer.

Remember, you only get one go on this planet and you really do want to make the the most of it. And for most of us, we spend that at work. So getting your job right is a big leverage on the rest of your life too.

So, this is your space to dream and thoughtfully consider what your life will be like, when you really are living your dream job.

Using the couple of sheets of paper, write on them what the perfect work day in your dream job would be like, in an ideal world. Do it quickly, use a real pen and write!

Be descriptive - using as many of your senses as you can. For example, what you hear, what you see, what your feelings are. Be as descriptive as you like from your waking up, to the very end of your day, step-by-step, hour-by-hour.

What work is like; what happens in your mind's eye; what you have for lunch; who you meet; who you loved working with. Even the sorts of things that are said too!

Why do most people work? Generally it’s out of financial necessity. But how wonderful it would be if everyone could earn a living doing exactly what they love to do. Basically, find their dream job. Unfortunately, too many job seekers aren’t exactly sure what they want to do or how to go about finding it.

However, by giving some thought to the four concepts below, employees can think about what they like and dislike -- their work preferences. They just might find that what they are best at is exactly what they like doing most.

Employees should began by asking themselves what they like about their current (or even past) job. Consider:

    • Project driven or task oriented work
    • Working in teams or independently
    • Leading others or being an individual contributor

Next they should ask themselves what they enjoy doing most in their spare time by looking at ideas such as favorite:

    • Hobbies
    • Sports
    • Entertainment

Next they should consider what type of work environment is important to them such as:

    • Company size
    • Company industry
    • Company culture

Finally, they need to look at other job-related things that ae important to them such as:

    • Commuting distance
    • Benefits
    • Work hours

Once employes have developed a list of specifics, they will then be able to narrow down their preferences.
