How much would you pay for logo design?

Hi guys,
Just doing a bit of research, your feedback would be greatly appreciated . I would like to put my years of Graphic Design experience back to work! I am thinking of setting up a website where customers can buy basic logo design packages online at very low prices.

I just wanted to know (especially from new start up owners) what sort of budget you set aside for your logo design and would a low price put you off? Also would you expect to be able to get your stationery design and printing in the same place as your logo?

It sounds like you uncovered a market niche: offer small businesses a one-stop solution. (you could even throw in website design and hosting to increase your profit margin) Low price shouldn't be a barrier to getting sales, as long as your potential clients can see value in your product/services.

There are a couple of online logo design services that offer logos at under $100. When you find one, hit the "Back" button.
You get what you pay for, and logos are no exception.
Of course, it depends on what your needs are. If you can find a pre-designed logo that you like for under $100, good for you. Just make sure that the logo company is willing to make alterations to the logo without charging extra for each round of revisions. Also make sure that the logo company you deal with does not resell logos.
