The Laptop Advantage

First of all, you shouldn't even be considering a laptop unless you truly need the portability. After all, portability is the only feature laptops have over desktops. Ask yourself: where am I going to use this laptop other than at my desk? Here are some possibilities:

* You need a computer while traveling
* You need to use the same PC at home and at work
* You need to use your computer in meetings
* You are a student, and you want to take it to the library or classroom

In your decision about whether you need portability, take into account that laptops are NOT feathers. They weigh a few pounds, and can be slightly cumbersome to carry around, when you include cables, power supply, extra storage drives, etc.

Of course it's very good to have a laptop, but you can have more problems when you need to repair it as the repair services cost more for laptops than for usual PC. I have a laptop and I had to get rid of money to get it back to life.

Right, now the hardware used for laptop PCs is almost the same in performance as desktop PCs and we would still get the mobility. It is nice to have a laptop PC.

Other advantage of laptop is that the radiation of it is weaker than the desktop.. So laptop is better for our health, for our eyes.

i prefer laptop over desktop, for its portability and mobility. but you can do limited upgrades in laptop, unlike in desktop. and the repair for the laptop and desktop vary a great deal, because of their parts.

i am using laptop at home, and a desktop in the office. laptop is just convenient to use. and i can bring it anywhere i go.

I feel very much like business laptops, notebook computers because they can carry on a business trip. This is a lightweight and convenient network, laptop is popular around the world. Everyone likes to use laptop computers.

Laptop is very helpful to us. We can carry it where ever we want to carry it. It will help us to give a project and we can use it when ever the power's cut. And the advantages you have given is so true. And nice.

Laptops are convenient and have their uses but I always prefer a desktop - easy to upgrade & repair, more stable, drivers are easy to find and don't suffer the overheating problems that seem to plague laptops.
