    Domain name is name of your website.Domain names are used for identify IP addresses. Without a domain name you can not have a website, registering domain name is compulsory.

    Domains serve as titles for Websites such as computers, networks, and services. A sector address represents an Online Protocol (IP) resource. Individual Online variety computers use sector titles as variety identifiers, or variety titles.

    you can check this from the search toolbar. you can see this "www" after this what the name is like "google" or anything that is called domain name

    .com isn't as important as it used to be. People type in domains far less than they used to, making search engines the primary vector for visiting a site. A search engine hardly cares if it is a .com or a .net in the same way that the human brain instinctively types .com. So register a good name more than worrying about the TLD.
