I prefer short domain names, they are easy to remember and much easier and quicker to enter into the browser. The longer the url the longer it takes for someone to view your site if entering it via the keyboard.

I think a short domain name if chosen correctly can make a good impression on your site.

I prefer short domains but quite often you have to go a little longer to get the one you want its no real problem either way.

As long as the domain name is memorable that's the most important for me, but given the choice I would choose a shorter name as they are usually easier to remember.

long term domain also has its own advantage cause with this you can actually target your own keywords on it yet you do get domain names which are easy to be remembered for marketing purposes...it is advisable to use the hyphens to separate keywords that could possibly blend together..
