I am planning to build a website on sms-jokes.info. My friend have this domain and he is ready to give me. Its about to expire and I will have to renew it. But before renew I would like to have your review as well.

Its a keyword rich domain. You can develop a site with sms / mobile content and promote it.

Mate this one certainly have two and important keywords ... like SMS and Jokes. But let me tell you two things for that ...

# SMS and Jokes have very less payout in adsense ...

# This one is dot info which have less value in the eyes of search engines.

So before going to this and investing your time ... think again ...

keywords aside the domain has little value for two reasons

1. its a .info
2. it has a dash.

well its a nice idea, you should not keep this only with jokes sms, u can also put many other keywords, keep up the good work

The extension and the dash in the domain will decrease its price. However the domain still worth the domain renewal fee so If you're sure that you will have advertisers than give it a try, but don't invest too much.
