lol - think there are plenty of people around who would love to get a .edu domain. Think your best alternative route may be to create some great quality content and try and get some good links from .edu websites as a result.

.edu domain names are provided only to authorized education institutes. It is not a .com domain which can be purchased by anyone.

I think we'd all like to buy an .edu domain for SEO purposes.. however if it were available, it wouldn't have the same type of value. Its exclusivity is why they are great for SEO
