What is the benefit of registering your domain with a good registrar?
I think i understand the importance of hosting your site with a good host- at least 99% up time, good customer service etc. Do the same rules apply to a registrar? If i have a good host (hostgator in my case) what does it matter if i register the domain with a not-so-good host?
I'm considering registering a .co.uk domain name with 1and1. Their reviews are not so good as per hosting and customer service (i have experienced their customer service and i agree totally) but their prices are cheaper compared with go daddy (that seems to be the popular favourite). What do you guys think i should do?

You should not go for the service which offers domain name cheaply but you should go for go daddy as they provide good customer support service. If you opt poor hosting service then it would definitely affect your search engine ranking and your PR will be low

I consider Todaynic.com to register domain .especially for the price . $6.71 net/org $7.45 .com $6.26 .cn.

hi i tried free domain registration in many sites but i cant get exact thing
what i prefer .then one of my friend guide me to visit here zippozap here they provide domain
registration service through this site xnynz in which we can register our domains here if we register
5 or more domain then they will provide us free private registration .we can appraise our domain from
zippozap i felt happy with their service.

With good registrar you can be sure in their quality services and domain safety. I know Eurodns.com as really quality ad trustworthy domain registration company, you should give them a try.
