is ther any site that offers free domain?
I have seen many sites offering to host our domain for free, but registering free domain seems to be a different issue. I was wondering whether it is possible at all.
Do you guys have any idea?

dot.tk domains are being blocked by several antivirus softwares.. and there is a ton of ads in there.. it is better to buy your own domain name... it wouldn't cost much... I don't know your circumstances... but I have a job.. so was not that hard for me..
Where from, Why here, Where to..?
May god bless, who he wishes to bless!!

Affordable and reliable hosting at www.marginfreehosting.com
If you are low on cash , you can register a .info domain at GoDaddy.com which takes about 1.4$ including all charges. But you need a paypal verified account for that. If unverified or any other reasons , you can register at namecheap for about 3$. I personally prefer namecheap.... I guess I am a bit of stupid :P

I have tried one free domain name service located at smartdots.com
It was a great free service that i used for a long time to redirect my pages to the long url but as free is not alwas free they monopolised on it and added pop up ads when you used it as well as an annooying toolbar which obstructed and interfered with using the site.
All I am saying is be careful.

Well there are a couple of websites that allow you to get a free domain name for posting. One such of these is called namepros. They are a great resource for getting a free domain name, and I highly recomend them. Not only can you post in their forums, but you can also visit other members websites to get points, or they even have a forum full of incentives other members give where you do something for them and they give you points.
I used a referral link above, I would appreciate it if you used that, as if you do become an active member it gives me 25Np$ which is nice, I am letting you know this however ahead of time in case you would prefer to not use my referral, in which case you can just chop that part off the url
