There are lot of sources available through online to register the Domain name.I have registered the Domain name at here
Whoisxy i have registered the .EU internationalized extensioned Domain name there...they also providing that registration.

Some Spain domain names and French ones could be really popular in US and Canada. So I suppose you can apply for them as well.
