Difference between Blog and Article

Greeting!!!!!

what the difference between blog and article. As we know both are useful for website promotion. I just want to clear my doubt because when i read any blog or article, both are looking the same.

Blog is to share your experience and about your personal things
Article is all about to describe your business or product which you want to tell your clients or users...

Their is not a big difference between Blog and Article.Blog can be used individually but article can not be an individual does not submit articles.Blog are one of the best way to generate traffic for the website.

I completely agree with Joe, when the blogs were introduced they were used for sharing personal experience, however, nowadays blogs are created to build backlinks and to drive traffic to main sites. It has become one of the best way to build backlinks.

An article is a piece of information about a marketing strategy, recipe tips, parenting skills, or anything you choose to write about....focusing on your website or your business.

On the other hand, a blog is like a daily journal where you post articles, recipes, health tips, your thoughts for the day or just about anything you wish. You post on it daily, every other day, weekly or however you choose to post. You can also add your websites to it and adsense if you like to a blog. Blogs are a bit easier to keep up with than websites and are indexed by the search engines more quickly than websites.
