How to choose topics for blogs?

I am thinking to make a blog of my own which will different and unique recipes,can anyone suggest some ideas to choose the contents of my blog.

I guess you have to choose the topics that are closer to your interests or hobbies - not just have a blog because all here have one. That's nonsense.

I think the best things you can blog about are the things you are most interested in and know the most about. You'll be the expert!

It is better to stick with the topic which you are more familiar and more interested in to write about, that will help you to update your blog regular and get more traffic.

i think in blogs you write your experience or about any technology any event which you know or you want to share with all..so blog can be written in any topic..but offcause quality content matter

This with your own interests and hobbies, you can choose your favorite subject as your blog's theme.
