which one is better Wordpress or blogspot/blogger?

I want to start a blog for my website, want to know which one is better Wordpress or blogspot/blogger?

Obviously Wordpress, you have so many features and well a lot of plugins and themes for wordpress ( I mean self hosted Wordpress not the Wordpress.com one). You can use any reliable free hosting if you cannot get a paid host. If you do not want the hassle of installing Wordpress, I recommend opt for blogger than Wordpress.com blogs because the features of Blogger in terms of pre-hosted blogs is better than Wordpress.com

I agree with seofusion,if you own hosing,you should use wordpress,it is powerful,change template,add any other functions,just like twitter.

Well I agree with you that Blogger is owned by Google so gets indexed fast but Well wordpress to does comes with a lot of Plugins which will get your blog indexed very easily and fast

I prefer blogspot. I am using it for almost a year and I am very satisfied from it. I recommend it especialy to new bloggers.

I prefer to use Wordpress as its quite easy to customize and use.

WordPress is very reliable to me because of the plugins and features that are unique, better and easy for us to deal with. I do have Blogger, but I think they're no match to WP.

I think the best blogging software to choose is the one that you like and get on with, for me self hosted wordpress
