How much are you earning each month???

For those who use affiliate programs to make money on your site, how much are you earning a month???
It is so hard to earn a decent amount of money when you sign up with affiliate programs that pay 1%-5% commission. You have to make hundreds of thousands of sale to make some decent money.

nothing in the last 8 months. btw i use cj as my affiliate program.

if you have 1%-5% sales per visitors than you are doing very good !

The commission rates vary depending on the niche. E. g. web hosting companies offer about 10% - 30% (if they pay lifetime commissions) or quite big one-time commissions. If you promote something like eshop with computers the commission may be only a few percent. However, a few percent from the price of the computer may be also good amount.

It is also important to know that there is much more higher competition when you promote some products paying high commission. So sometimes it may be more profitable to promote programs which pay less.
