How to promote my affiliate program?

So I have started an in-house affiliate program for my product(software). But I have no idea how to recruit affiliates.

Most forums dont allow advertising, affiliate directory brings very little traffic, CPC campaigns have low ROI.

Any ideas?

There are some techniques that you can use.Like-

-Write articles
-upload videos to YouTube
-Post on forum (Relevant forums)
-social networking (e.g. Twitter or Facebook)
-Write ebooks and submit in different ebooks and pdf directory
-classified ad posting in site's like Craigslist,usfreeads etc.
-submit your product information in local directories.

I do agree with Jimmy. The president of US has the power to make decision that can be exploited for the betterment of the world.So the whole world looks up to him to see what steps he takes to ensure this expectation.
