using facebook for web site's promotion

Our site have some traffic from Facebook, it is not so bad idea to use it for website promotion. lol
In Facebook there are a lot of people, groups, events and so on. It is interesting and easy to use it for website's promotion.
Now, I am only at the first step, but hope in future will have good results.

face book is a good source for traffic

I have not used Facebook for my site promotion till now but i have heard very good reviews of that. people who have done that are reaping positive results out of it.
So, if anyone has any news or information about this marketing form, please let me also know.

One good thing about social networking traffic like facebook is that the people coming them there are very interactive with my site like commenting etc... unlike social bookmarking which is abit random traffic... althrough, it takes more work to get social networking going...
