Blog and ping! (It's a catch phrase, right? ) Wordpress really is one of the easiest ways to ping your blog posts because, if you have it set up correctly, it's hands-free automatic. So how do you set it up? It's easy!

1. Login to your WP admin. (yourdomainname.com/wp-admin).
2. Open Settings - Writing.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen where you'll see Update Services.
4. Add in all the sites where you would like your post pinged. And that's it!

Additionally, you could use free services like Pingomatic or PingFarm. This isn't automated, but if you don't know all the ping sites to include in your WP Settings, you will get more exposure this way. Simply publish your blog post, then ping the post URL at any of these sites. It's not completely hands-free, but at least it's point and click simple!
