Then there must be something that you are doing wrong. PPC is very effective if you use it properly. Keyword analysis, bidding process, CTR, competition, etc. are just some areas to be aware of. Its a trial and error method. But once you get the hang of it and you fairly know how the system works, you'd get the conversions from the clicks.
