9. Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from. Analyze your visitor location and their incoming sources whether search engines or links from other sites and the keywords they used to find you.
10. Make your customer visit easy and give them plenty of ways to remember you in the form of newsletters, free reports, reduction coupons etc.
11. Demonstrate your industry and product or service expertise by writing and submitting articles for your website or for article banks so you are perceived as an expert in your field.
12. When selling products online, use simple payment and shipment methods to make your customer’s experience fast and easy.
13. When not sure, hire professionals. Though it may seem costly, but it is a lot less expensive than spending your money on a website which no one visits.
14. Don’t look at your website as a static brochure. Treat it as a dynamic, ever-changing sales tool and location, just like your real store to which your customers with the same seriousness.

they warn webmasters because some users keep submitting the same domain several times with sub domains and so on. You just need to submit your url once and the search engine will take care of the rest. this warning is to keep webmasters away from spamming.

You can use these method to increase the traffic:

1. Directory submission: Submission in good PR directory site. Make sure submission in relevant category.
2 Articles submission: Write quality of articles, those address your site content. Submit these article in good sites who provide you faster approval.
3 Press release: Submit your press release to various social sites.
4 Blogs creation: create a blogs and submit good matter and submit this blog to various site.

I have recently written two blogs for my site to try and promote it as a long time ago I had very few visitors and now I have none. I know why this is. It's because I haven't been putting up good quality content and publishing new content regularly and I haven't got a common layout which in a week's time is all I will be thinking about and trying to fix.

I couldn't see any link backs to your site in the yahoo blog.. putting a link back to your site will help ya.. we have discussed this several times in here.. buddy...

There are heaps in the blog itself when you click on view blog but I can't seem to add my web list to the front page which includes webicy.com as a link or even just a link to my website.

The yahoo360 site is still in beta and I can see why it keeps dropping data and opening up the wrong settings constantly. Blogger seems to be a lot better and includes more features.
