Social bookmarking can be very usefull to your website, provided you know how to make a good use of it . For example you have to make sure you are using the relevant key words to define and promote your website, products or articles , because that's how social bookmarks sites work.
You also want to make sure you are active on the specified bookmark site, the more friends you have and community you are part of the more your website visibility will increase.

i think it's a great way to attract traffic. but the problem with social bookmarking is the traffic doesn't stay for long.
