nothing new, but useful tips.

Those are some outdated suggestions. In todays competitive world, you need to come up with new ideas that are outside the box.

such as get a custom logo designed - get some tee shirts, water bottles, pens, flashlights,,, and other stuff made up with your logo. Visit trade shows in your area, talk with the people there and hand out free stuff.

If nothing else, get your logo made up on some bumper stickers, and give them to people that visit your site. Invite them to send you their mailing address so you can send them a free bumper sticker or a few pens.

Harness the power of youtube with some video blogging.

Get some magnetic signs made for your truck or car.

Just do it!!!!!!!. I always read about ways to get links or promote your site. What is lacking is the effort in most cases, not the strategy. So pick a few ways and do it!

I'd like to recommend social media promotion. Its upcoming but gives good results.

these are not outdated tips since everybody's doing it.. but few innovate on these strategies.. consistency is what matters
