    You will notice duplicate content on your web site via;

    Using external tools, like Siteline, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Copyscape , etc
    Searching on Google exploitation “”
    Doing “site search”
    Checking your Search Console, etc.
    However, i feel before exploitation of these tools, you wish to grasp however search engines outline duplicate content and the way is it created.

    This is as a result of duplicate content isn't solely the derived content taken from alternative websites. differing types of duplicate content exist, and you would possibly produce it while not even realizing that. for example, duplicate content is made if you,

    Have a non-HTML version (PDF) of your content somewhere on the net
    Didn’t place a 301 airt and every one protocols work (http, https, www, non-www...)
    Imported your web log post article to a platform that doesn’t give “canonical tag” … etc.
    And all these duplicate content problems you´ll notice later via the above mentioned tools. )
